Henry bought a tree sapling that was 6 inches tall. The tree grew half an inch a day. Let d = the number of days the tree has been growing. Which algebraic expression could be used to calculate height of the tree, in inches, after any number of days? d+6 1/2d+6 1|2(d+6) 6+d+1/2

OpenStudy (turingtest):

so we have that the tree starts at initial height h inches and grows at some rate r. the height at any given time for such a situation would be given by Height=(initial height)+(rate)x(time) in this case the initial height is 6, the rate is \(\large\frac12\frac{\text{in}}{\text{day}}\), and the time is measured in days \(d\) make those substitutions into the formula I gave you and the answer should be clear
