where in the division problem do you need help?
i dont understand it at all..
consider the first term of the dividend. what must you multiply the divisor by to make the first term the same. perform like regular division, but using all terms in the divisor each time. x^2(x-3)=x^3-3x^2. subtract that quantity from the dividend. repeat until the highest power in the dividend is smaller than the highest power in the divisor. in this case, a constant divided by (x-3)
I dont even know what a divedend is.
dividend is the first term of your problem, the number being divided. divisor is the second term, the number being divided by.
