I am told to graph each line using the slope and y-intercept, The question is y=2x+5. Do I have to find the x and y coordinates? Or is the slope 2??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

slope is 2 and the x-intercept is (0,5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so if I were to graph this, I would put the slope (2) on the Y axis? and the x-intercept (0,5) on the X axis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you would graph the point (0,5) then you would go up two over 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=mx+c, Here slope m=2 and y int=5. Put the value of y in the eqn and x value is 0.
