for a cirlce of radius 6 feet, find the arc kenght intercepted by a central angle of 60

OpenStudy (accessdenied):

I think arc length is easiest to think about as a fraction of the circumference. Basically, we know that 360 degrees are in a full circle, which has circumference \(2 \pi r\). If we are finding the length of the circle for only 60 degrees, then we'll have 60/360 of the circumference, or 1/6. |dw:1337742938187:dw|
