classical mechanics means??
Mechanics is a branch of physics that focuses on physical laws that describe the motion of objects affected by forces. There are two major branches: classical and quantum. Classical mechanics is focused on "macroscopic" objects, basically not tiny ones. Quantum mechanics is focused on atomic movement and the like, I'd guess. So, classical mechanics is a field of study where you study the movement of things from a speck of dust all the way up to galaxies.
And speeds are small compared to speed of light. (If not, classical mechanics is not a valid approximation any more and you have to use relativity instead).
According to modern physics, classical physics is any theory of physics in which the universe is assumed to have a single well defined history
classical mechanics is that branch of physics which deals with the effect of force on macroscopic objects that have a maximum speed very less compared to the speed of light. newton's three laws of motion describe classical mechanics
CLASSICAL MECHANICS IS PHYSICS AT LOW SPEED OR SPEED NOT COMPARABLE TO SPEED OF LIGHT!!:o
physics applied when you consider every object as a point mass
