log 2+log x=log 32. Can someone please help me solve this?

this is log base 10 right?

write the left side as one log so you'll get the equation: log (2x) = log (32) now that they are the same base, you can just solve: 2x = 32 can you take it from here?

actually it doesn't matter with the base...
