the triangles perimeter are equal so you can make the two unknown sides equal to each other this gives 3x-2=x+2 simplify to get 2x=4 x=2

With this vertex as the center, Gail drew an arc to create a 180 degree angle. How can Gail ensure that the two other points she plots will be the remaining two vertices of an isosceles triangle?
