OpenStudy (jpsmarinho):

Why all the trigonometric functions are continuous? This doubt is more because the tangent, cossec, sec and cotangent functions.

OpenStudy (jamesj):

All of the functions you've listed are not continuous everywhere. For example, tan is not continuous at x = pi/2 (90 degrees) because tan(pi/2) is not defined.

OpenStudy (jpsmarinho):

I think this. But I find in a textbook that all trigonometric functions are continuous for every number in your domain... But thanks!

OpenStudy (jamesj):

It is true that for every point in their domains, all trig functions are continuous.

OpenStudy (jpsmarinho):

Ahh right. Now I understand! Thanks!!
