PLEASE HELP ME ----- An equilateral triangle, a square and a regular hexagon are connected as shown. If the sides of all figures are 12 cm and the apothem of the hexagon is 10.4 cm, find the area of the entire figure. Show your work for each of the three shapes. Round your answer to the nearest tenth.
Here are the formulas you will need: Area of Triangle = ½ base x height Area of Square = (side)2 Area of Hexagon = ½ apothem x perimeter
area of triangle = 1/2*12*12= 72 units^2 area of square = l*l = 144 units^2 area of hexagon = 10.3 units^2
