the diameter of the track is 4 mi. Last Tuesday, Laura ran 9/10 of a lap around the track. Approximately what distance did she run? i did 4/10 and then multiplied that by 9 but i doubt this is correct

the diamater is the line through the center of the circle. it meets directly across from the starting point. so that is 4 miles halfway and the other half is another 4. do (9/10) * 8 = 7.2. try that.
