If you need to clarify the directions for a lab activity, what should you do? a.Contact your instructor. b.Find a new way to do the lab. c.Perform an Internet search for help. d.Skip over the steps you don't understand

OpenStudy (blues):

Before you go to your lab instructor, you should always try to answer the question yourself.

OpenStudy (thurscon):

I'm guessing this is a question which is course-specific, so we can't really give you the answer since your teacher is going to want something specific. I'd generally say the answer is not B or D, since those options potentially ignore certain instructions. I would err on the side of A as your answer. It would be best to contact your instructor.

OpenStudy (blues):

It is funny that you should say that - showing that there is more than one right answer to this. I would personally start with an internet search for more info either about the technique in general, or more info about the products or kits you will be using in the experiment. So I would say C. In my experience, lab instructors don't like to be bothered with questions the students could have answered themselves...

OpenStudy (thurscon):

Well, I'd say that's definitely true in higher education. However, this seems like a question a middle school or high school teacher would ask - and generally they prefer students come to them with questions.

OpenStudy (blues):

Fair point, definitely.
