x - 9 = -6x + 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you want your "x"s on one side of the equal sign, and you numbers on the other

OpenStudy (thurscon):

x=2.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x - 9 = -6x + 5 when you move you -9 to the right of the "=" sign, it becomes a +9 when you move your -6x to the left of the "=" sign it vecomes a +6x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then you have 7x = 14 x = 14/7 x= 2
