If i pass three quarters and fail one quarter do i pass?

Don't hate yourself, just work harder next quarter. I don't know how it works at your school, but at mine, if you fail a class, you will pass into the next year, but you have to make it up to receive the credit for the course and graduate (you can receive the credit by retaking the class or through summer school, usually.) If you retake the classes you failed next year, it'll put you behind your classmates and you might not graduate with your expected class (instead of graduating in the class of 2014 like your classmates, you might graduate in 2015 or later.) I strongly recommend you go to summer school (or the equivalent) and make up the classes you failed. At this point in the game, it's too late to bring the GPA for your whole year back up to standards. Even if you get all A's, you'll still be below average in your GPA. You'll have to do extra well in your following years to make up for the low GPA in freshman year if you want for universities to consider accepting you. I hope this helped, and good luck.
