Hi, can someone help me? Pset 1 question 1A-7 is:
"Find the period , amplitude , and phase angle, and use these to sketch a) 3sin(2x − π) ; b) −4cos(x + π/2)"
What does phase angle refer to?

I belive phase angle is the same as phase shift, so for cos(x + pi/2) the phase shift is pi/2.
