Which type of electromagnetic wave has greater penetration power? I think wave having longer wavelength will have greater penetration power because it will not be absorb.......! but my friend says Gamma...........

small wavelength will have low frequency..i think it is the frequency on which the penetration depends..high frequency high penetration..

Also, the energy of an electromagnetic wave is directly proportional to its frequency. So, higher the frequecy, higher will be the energy and higher the energy, higher will be the penetrating power.

ah but small waves can be blocked by small&big objects and large waves simply don't notice small objects.
