What is the remainder of (x^3 – 6x – 9x + 3) ÷ (x - 3) A. -51 B. -51 x - 3 C. -17 x D. -17 x - 3

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

before all i think that the second term is 6x^2 ,or not is ? so than the remainder will be : x^3 -6x^2 -9x +3 : x-3 =x^2 -9x -36 x^3 +3x^2 ---------- 0 -9x^2 -9x -9x^2 +27x ------------ 0 -36x +3 -36x +108 ----------- 0 -105 - so hence the remainder is -105

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got D
