How many ditis are there in the number 1125^225 given that log2=0.3010 and log3=0.4771?

@satellite73

OpenStudy (ash2326):

@shameer1 if I take log of 1000 \[log_{10} 1000=3\] so we get 3 , digits are 4 (in 1000) similarly if we take log of 55 \[\log_{10} 55=1.74\] we have 2 digits here(in 55), so if we take log of a number, just next whole no. is the number of digits in the original no.

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Now take log of 1125^225 and try to find the no. of digits. If you don't get it, I'll help you

OpenStudy (ash2326):

let me know if you get stuck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer should be 687 but i am not getting!!!!

OpenStudy (ash2326):

share your work here, let's get the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think we have to convert that to log2 and log3

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Yeah, you need to use the logarithmic properties. Try and let me know if you need help
