The writer of a factual newspaper article probably does not have which of the following as a main goal? A.an intellectual point proven with evidence. B.points that are presented in a structured or logical way. C.an emotional response from the reader.
help pls
I think it would be C. First, it's "Factual" which deals with logic and evidence. Second, A & B are almost same. ;) Factual: "Concerned with what is actually the case rather than interpretations of or reactions to it."
B) Points that are presented in a structured and logical ways.
I think it would be C too. If it is a factual paper they would not be concerned with an emotional response from the reader, merely that they are providing the facts.
C. The point here is that it is factual. A well organised and structured article would be required. An emotional response to a "factual" article is not required. If the article is factual then one would expect it to be an intellectual point proven with evidence and indeed the lack of evidence would cause the reader whether indeed its was factual. Definately C.
