Look at the circle shown below. What is the equation of the circle? Answer x2 + (y – 2)2 = 36 x2 + (y – 2)2 = 6 (x – 2)2 + y 2 = 36 (x – 2)2 + y 2 = 6

what's its radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6 without being squared but im not sure if it wants me to square it or not

Parth (parthkohli):

\(\Large \color{MidnightBlue}{\Rightarrow (x - h)^2 + (y - b)^2 = r^2 }\) Radius i.e 6 can be squared to form 36. So it'll be 36 :D

Parth (parthkohli):

Thank you again @lalaly :P

OpenStudy (lalaly):

lol dont thank me :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank-you guys =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i find the equation though?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You have the graph. count how many x ticks the centre is over, count how many y ticks your centre is over. Those are your h and b values in the equation that @Parthkohli gave. sub them in and you have your equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mmmk thanks
