I need to show the work and I'm still not sure how too. I can do this on a calculator just haven't been able to by writting it out. The answer is 24. How did they get that?
just show yourself guesing and checking. thats what id do
like 20x20= 400 and then keep going till you get to 24

You need to factorise by repeatedly dividing by the smallest numbers possible.\[\frac{576}{2}=288\]\[\frac{288}{4}=72\] You can then break 576 down into 2 *4 * 4 * 2 * 3 * 3 then by grouping you find that 576 = (2 * 4 * 3)^2 = 24^2
