Absolutely. In all of the examples, the author aims to appeal to the reader in order to change their mind and to win them over by by their argument. If any "directions for a product" is less obvious.However, I do recall these congradulating the reader on buying the product.
i dont think editorials should have persuasive writing..i mean editorials should be fair on both sides of the argument..i would say that an editorial should be an argumentative writing
There is an important distinction here. The question says "can be found" and not " should be found". That editorials contain both persuasive and argumentative writing I agree.
