the first term and the 7th term of an arithmetic sequence are 18 and 36 respectively. Find the 19th term of the sequence

so there are6 terms between 18 and 36, and since this is arithmetic sequence, we can just divide the difference of first and 7th term by the number of terms (6) it took to get from 18 to 36. so 36-18 = 18 and 18/6 is 3. so each term adds 3, starting from 18.
