ok which one is the space u want ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because it's a cycle the o angle is 90 degree . and u can use 2ao^2=5^2

OpenStudy (callisto):

angle AOC = 2(45) = 90 (angle at centre, twice angle at circumference) AD = 1/2 (5) = 2.5 angle AOD = 1/2 (90) = 45 AO(radius) = 2.5/(cos45) Then, use the formula, area = pi (r^2) to find the area :) Sorry I was talking to my friend on phone for something important :(

OpenStudy (callisto):

Wait, AO(radius) = 2.5/(sin45) not cos45, my bad :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ok
