Look at the following numbers, which one is odd one out? 5964 7984 1826 6793 4672 2748 a) 5964 b) 1826 c) 4672 d) 7984 e) 6793

sam (.sam.):

6793?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6793 because that's the only odd number others are even.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wait sorry there is another number: 2731, which means the even and odd rule doesn't apply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

are u sure the other number is 2731?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nvm I think i found it. if you take the middle 2 digits and multiply by each other you will get the outer 2 digits. lets say 1826. 8x2=16. so you can see that 1 is placed on the 1st digit and 6 is placed on the 4th. 2731. 7x3=21. and you will find out that 7984 is the wrong 1.
