What is a series circut?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In a series circuit there is only one path for the current to pass through... the resistors are arranged in a chain-like manner.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a series circuit is a circuit whereby resistors are connected in a row NOT parallel to each other. In a series circuit every resistor has the same current though the voltage is different

in english please

OpenStudy (stormfire1):

Excuse the horrible drawing but this shows a series circuit. Note that there is only one path through the circuit (since each resistor is connected end-to-end) |dw:1337959905218:dw|
