Alveoli are tiny air sacs involved in gas exchange in the lungs. They're found at the ends of bronchi.
A) Alveoli are the small sacs at the end of the bronchioles which are connected to the bronchus. Gas exchange take place in the alveoli.
Pulmonary tree - trachea > bronchi > bronchioles > alveoli. Alveoli are sacs whose walls make up the blood-air barrier, composed of epithelium, fused basement membrane and endothelium of capillaries.
