This version of Einstein’s equation is often used directly to find what value? E = ∆mc2 A. the energy that is released in a nuclear reaction B. the mass defect C. the mass that is lost in a fusion reaction D. the potential energy of an object raised to a certain height E. the speed of light

google it and you will find the answer faster , cause obviously your physics book is so popular http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20111223112132AAus5rl

i did _-_

alright , then i am glad to help :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, thanks

The answer is A. As you can easily calculate mass defect value by basic knowledge. And the change in mass is thus governed by this eqn. As the mass changes due to emmision of antineutrino particle which travels with the speed of light and releases energy in the form of E.M. Radiation

I would say A Just look at the question. "often used DIRECTLY" Out of your questions only A says something about energy as a product of something.

lol no the answer is C on plato
