A rectangular prism is truncated removing 10% of its height. The original height of the prism was 100 meters and it has a length of 4 meters and a width of 20 meters. What is the volume of the truncated prism? Answer 3,800 m3 7,200 m3 800 m3 4,200 m3

hero (hero):

I'm pretty sure the hint here is to simply reduce the height by 10%

hero (hero):

Yeah, that has to be it. Instead of 100 meters, you have 90 meters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok and then the formula for volume of a rectangle prism is l*w*h right?

hero (hero):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cool so its my second option then =)
