You push on a crate with a force of 10 N to the right, and your friend pushes on the crate with a force of 25 N to the left. Describe and explain the motion of the crate.

God I wish there was a search feature. At any rate, if you push on a crate 25N in one direction and someone else pushes on it 10N in the opposite direction, it's going to move with a new force of (25-10=15N)...in the direction of the greater force.

OpenStudy (stormfire1):

"for "new force"...I meant "net force"
