thanks for the answer, I do have eclipse and aptana also, but I need a tutorial or tutor, but it's kind of boring doing that, if I studied with someone it would be better do you know anybody that is learning and wants to study?

On youtube, a guy called Bucky Roberts (and on his website http://thenewboston.com) has made tons of easy-to-follow video tutorials on Java. http://codingbat.com is one website where you may practice Java. I've also found another website that had all these Java tutorials with instructions and conceptual information, but I lost the link :( if you keep searching my previous questions or answers though you may find it!

You got to learn java first, then jdbc. Head first ebook is freely available. Herbert schildt's Java Complete reference is good.
