Question

My files in Finder's "All my files" won't stay in alphabetical order. I choose "Sort by: Name" but it only stays like that until restart my MacBook Pro. Once I turn it back again, it's sorted by "Date last opened". How could I keep it sorted by name?

I've never run across this, but I would close all my file listing windows, open one up and change the sort to name and CLOSE it and reboot. AFAIK, the last window of any program is the one that writes the plist file.
