I have a sentence that I need checked if someone wouldn't mind:) If you love hearing waves lapping the shoreline, strolling down a wooded path with deer as your companions or being awestruck with the crisp sparkle of the stars in this “dark sky” environment you will love Drummond Island! ****is there a comma after environment? Thanks for your help!
There should be a comma after environment AND after companions.
Thanks for your help!
I wondered about after environment but was told that the or acts as the comma after companions there. I would pepper everything with comma's if it were up to me. I use them as I would pause in speaking but I know there are new rules for it.
Technically, I think you could get away with no comma after companions. I'm probably a little older than you, and I was taught to put a comma there. I know they are changing up some things (for example, I STILL double space between sentences). Make sure you ask your teacher, just to be sure. :)
Thank you so much for your help:)
No problem! Good luck!
