you have to solve it to get the answer there is no guess and check thing in quadratic equations ok but you can surely verify your answer by putting the values in it if 0=0 this means your roots satisfy your equation ...

so say you would foil (5x -3) ( 2x+1) you would get \[10x ^{2} - x - 3 \] so say you wopuld guess and check you would get what you foiled \[10x ^{2} - x - 3 \] what times what = 10 well 5 and 2 do so put them there and nothing goes into 3 so you would do 1 and 3
