a) (2y-1)/(y-2) with the restrictions y ≠ - 1/2 and y ≠ -2 b) (2y+1)/(y+2) with the restrictions y ≠ 1/2 and y ≠ 2 c) (2y+1)/(y+2) with the restriction y ≠ - 1/2 and y ≠ 2 D) (2y+1)/(y+2) with the restriction y ≠ ½ and y ≠ -2
i think the answer is B or D someone please help.
what is the restriction given for D?
restriction y ≠ ½ and y ≠ -2?
It's D. if y=-2 then the denominator bcums 0 and the whole expression bcums infinity coz 1/0 is infinity.
