What is the difference in volume when the pool is filled to the top versus filled to 6 inches below the top?

1/2 foot by the width by the length or 1/2 times area
pick a simple example... a pool 10 feet by 20feet by x feet deep the volume is 200x ft^3 filled to the top if its filled to 6 inches below the top V = 10 * 20 * (x - 0.5) V = (200x - 100) ft^3 so the difference is a volume equal to have the base area of the pool
