Progression is : 5, 8 , 11 ,14..... what is the 25th term? what is the sum of the first 25 terms?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

i see that 3 is always added...

Parth (parthkohli):

Using the arithmetic progression formula. \(\Large \color{Black}{\Rightarrow a_n = a_1 + (n - 1)d }\)

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

you can calculate manually or use the equation \[\large A_n = A_1 + (n-1)d\]

Parth (parthkohli):

Here, \(\Large \color{Black}{\Rightarrow a_{25} = 5 + 3(25 - 1) }\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

77

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

are you sure about that @payal111 /:)

Parth (parthkohli):

\(\Large \color{Black}{\Rightarrow 5 + 3(24) }\) No more hints.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

77?

Parth (parthkohli):

Hmm yes

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

lol yeah
