If I multiply (x-3)(x-3), the answer is 2x - 3x - 3x + 9, right? Which simplifies to 2x - 6x + 9. Amirite? xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh. wait. no.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-8x + 9? o.o

Parth (parthkohli):

\(\Large \color{Black}{\Rightarrow (a \pm b)^2 = a^2 \pm 2ab + b^2 }\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't even know what that means. o_o

Parth (parthkohli):

You did that correctly earlier. It is not -8x + 9 :|

Parth (parthkohli):

Well actually x^2 not 2x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH WAIT. I see what I did wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah. so it'd be x^2 - 6x + 9. right? o.o

Parth (parthkohli):

Hmm precisely. YEP!

OpenStudy (anonymous):
