can anyone help me please with find the vector that perpendicular to w=(2,-2,5)and perpendicular to y-axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I know that the dot product of two vectors that are perpendicular should be equal to zero.

I'm open for correction: when two vectors are perpendicular their dot product is zero. (-5,0,2) and the given vector's product is 0. same goes for (0,1,0) which is on the y axis

but in here after i used the dot product i didnt get 0
