Cubic functions and complex zeros!? y1 = (x+2) (x-(3+2i)) (x-(3-2i)) which then simplifies to y1 = (x+2) (x^2-6x+13) y2 is the shadow function that shares two points with y1, has opposite concavity and has zeros at -2 and 3+-2. y2= -((x-2)(x-1)(x-5)) Express y2 in terms of y1 and ym which is the shadow generating function (line passing through the points of intersection of y1 and y2 with equation: 4x + 8).. How would you approach this question? Thanks a lot!
