Find the coordinates of the point of symmetry of a circle whose equation is x2 + (y + 4)2 = 12. midpoint=

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 6? :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont think it be 6 because coordinates come in pairs and a single value.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 2.. right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it cant be 2 or 6 the answer is a coordite. such as x,y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well is it like mid point of 0,-4 to anypoint on radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

12?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it cant be just a number n but a coordinate x,y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it could be four.. and twelve?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i wanna say 0,-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

smartiee! im jelly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

jelly fish :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is stated so oddly. Your q

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:o why

OpenStudy (anonymous):

point of semmytry, why not just say the origin or center then it says something about midpoint :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk.... its on the question thingy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol well I really had to think then i had the euraka momment that it is just the center. since the center is a point and it is symmetrical :P
