It looks to me like it would be considered tundra. The reason being there's no trees. You often find in biology that terms have a very concise definition when in reality things aren't really as set in stone.

I think it could definitely be tundra but my daughter thinks taiga, but I agree with the earlier comment where someone said there aren't any trees.
