List the possible rational roots for the function whose equation is f(x)= 2x^3+bx^2-cx+10, where b and c are integers. for the answer i got -2 am i right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is false. The roots will depend on the values of \(b\) and \(c\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how do i do it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, there is an analog of the quadratic formula for cubics, though if this his homework I highly doubt that this is instructive. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cubic_function#General_formula_of_roots
