Hi my name is Maribel García, I have been studiying physics in OCW, but I have a question about first challenge problem of solving and stimation, why equation 1.2 is equal 1.3?

Can you provide a link to the equations?

I trayed to understand what is pressure and then I trayed to obtain the variation of presure relate with the variation of deep z, and I obtain the origen of that outcome. Thanks for your help :D

The equations 1.2 and 1.3 are two individual statements. By multiplying equation 1.3 by g on both sides, we get that the left hand side of the equations are equal, hence we can set the right hand sides of these two equations equal (which is done in equation 1.4).
