What value c should be chosen so that f(x) = {1 + (x^2 -x - 6)/(x-3), if x =/= 3 = { c, if x = 3 is continuous at x = 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I took the limit of x->3, which is 6, then I put f(3) = c.... I'm lost as to what I do next

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if the limit is 6, put \(c=6\) and you are done

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

question is just a goofy way of asking what the limit is
