Continuity at a point http://screensnapr.com/v/7ChyRB.png I have no base of this, so please, explain when you give help/answer(s), I need to learn this. Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it at least clear where the discontinuities are? that is a start

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

Yes, open circles.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well no, more than that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

imagine you were tracing this curve. discontinuities where you would have to lift your pencil from the paper, so not just at open circles also where there is a jump, or where the graph goes down to \(-\infty\) or up to \(\infty\)

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

so the asymptote = discontiuity

OpenStudy (lukecrayonz):

pardon the typnig errors, on my phone.
