Can someone help me with this: Which one in which the metal-oxygen bonds has the greatest covalent character. a.Na2O b. ZrO2 c.MnO4- d. Sc2O3 The correct answer is Na2O but I am not sure why, can someone please explain why?

Na, an alkali metal, is very reactive because it only needs to lose one electron to have a full octet. Therefore, the Na2O bond is the strongest because the Na atom is the most likely to lose an electron to the O atom.

Ahhhhhh okay that makes sense...I should have thought of that...I thought maybe it had something to do with electronegativity thanks :D!!!
