Andrew is a naturalist who's been worried about a deer species. He's been tracking the number of Birth's each year; Year 1: 4304 Year 2: 2152 Year 3: 1076 Year 4: 538 Predict the number of births in year 5. I don't even know why I'm having trouble with this, but I am. Help please?

OpenStudy (blacksteel):

Each year, the number of births is half that of the previous year. Thus, we can predict that in year 5 we'd see 538/2 = 269 births.

That's what I got, but I kept second guessing my work. Thank you so much for the help!
