How would I solve this:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. x = 5, –3 b. x = –5, –3 c. x = –5, 3 d. x = 5, 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = –5, –3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o...i was really hoping to understand how u got to that conclusion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

on factorising u may get (3/x +1)(5/x +1)=0

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

multiply each term by x^2 giving 8x + 15 = -x^2 or x^2 + 8x + 15 = 0 factorise for the solutions

thank u
