i meant if that exterior angle is 90, then the adjacent interior angle has to be 90 also...

Means <BCd and <BCA are equal - right? And they also make a linear pair. So what do you think?

that means <BCD+<BCA = 180
or, 2<BCD =180 ...{since <BCA=<BCD)
or, <BCD = 90 = <BCA
