Find the equation of the tangent to the curve if y=x^2+x^3 at the point (-1,2) _____ Write the steps plz

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

Have you differentiated it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No ,but i can :D Just write the steps of how to get the equation ,or what we need xD

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

\(y'=2x+3x^2\) then sub the x-value in to find the gradient. Then \(y-y_1=m(x-x_1)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks :D

OpenStudy (mimi_x3):

Are you able to do it now?>
